COLABORATION
knowledge │ skills │ ideas │information
We are looking for co-workers to solve the puzzle of knowledge about the euglenoids, especially gaps in knowledge about their their taxonomy, ecology and biogeography.
If you want to join our project, feel free to contact us at egdproject19_at_gmail.com.
If you are interested in colaboration possibilities in more detail, look at the following topics:
Data to the distribution database
Share your floristic data with others – put it in a database.
Do you have an interesting floristic publication? Please share with us.
Do you have any of the proposed flagship species in your samples? Please let us know.
Material for further studies
We are looking for:
natural populations dominated by biomass of one or two species of Trachelomonas;
morphologically interesting Trachelomonas species for further molecular studies;
any species of euglenods suitable for isolation or molecular studies - let's create a common project.
Research short-term Stay
Under Erasmus+ program or similar options for short stays.
We offer to you:
free acommonaditon (for short time, 1-2 weeks)
sampling and species determination
molecular biology laboratory and laboratory of electron microscopy (SEM and TEM)
equipment for isolation and cultivation of euglenoids
the possibility of a joint project (taxonomy, ecology field etc.)
Students short-term exchange
Under Erasmus program or similar options for short stays.

Consultation
We could help you and discuss together about problematic taxons in your samples.
Determination species from reasonable resolution and magnification photographs (and in reasonable quantities, such as around 10 photos).
